Trip Context
In my goal of visiting every country in the EU, I decided to book a flight to Cyprus. I had 3 days off work, and I was motivated to book an island country that’s harder to access compared to booking a local train or Flixbus.
It was originally going to be a round trip from Budapest to Larnaca, but Wizz Air cancelled my return flight. I pivoted to flying home from Paphos instead, and this vastly improved my trip.
